Northern Nights Announces 2019 Map, Stages, Expanded Camping Options and More!

Northern Nights Music Festival has become known for its wildly immersive setting. Encapsulated in the Redwoods of the Emerald Triangle and on the Eel River, its allure is never-ending. When you combine that with everything the organizers have planned for the festival’s seventh installment, you get one unforgettable weekend called Northern Nights Music Festival. Today, NNMF is back with the 2019 festival map along with stage and location details. Check it out below and stay tuned for schedule information and more announcements to come.

2019 Map

General Admission Tent Camping

Northern Nights is looking at its biggest year yet. In anticipation of selling out, tent camping has expanded along the Eel River and more overall terrain has been opened up. With more grounds to conquer and a larger community to celebrate with, consider this year’s event one for the books!

GA Camping

You can park 100 feet away from the river bank and camp just 20 feet away. Make sure to bring good walking shoes and shade because shade can be extremely limited so you can stay cool in your camping site. Bring an EZ-up and camp underneath for maximum cooling. Bring extra mats for optimal comfort and make sure to prepare for river bank camping (it’s rocky). Please remember to bring trash bags and pick up after yourself and friends (garbage bins are accessible).

NN Main Stage

The centerpiece of Northern Nights is hosting some of the biggest names on a PK Trinity sound system, with the likes of Zhu, Big Wild, the Desert Hearts crew, and more. After hours, the dancing goes all night with a silent disco by HUSH Concerts. Expect three simultaneous channels, two crew takeovers every night, and even a special guest pop-up.

NN Tree Lounge + Stage

The 2019 Northern Nights Tree Lounge will be the first-ever on-site recreational cannabis lounge and dispensary via AB2020 at a three-day overnight music festival. With 20+ vendors and its own stage and lineup, consider it a cannabis oasis equipped with floor seating, palm trees, and all.

River Stage

Nestled on a beach on the Eel River (aka The California Nile), this stage gives you the choice to dance on the sands, listen to performers while you float, or relax in the CannaCraft Lounge. After the best winter in 20 years, swimming is expected to be prime, so bring your inflatables.

Grove Stage

Nestled in the Redwoods, the Grove Stage is an escape of its own kind. This year’s theme is the Royal Enchanted Grove featuring a multi-tiered interactive castle, mystical and medieval surprises, and dragons in partnership with Abraxas from the burn. The festivities in the Grove are going to be boundless with midnight burlesque shows, an art gallery, yoga, live painting, evening aerialists, a massage area, a tea lounge with free hot tea, and a CannaCraft bus.

This natural amphitheater is one of Northern Night’s newest stages, returning for another year of late night techno and house. The stage is produced by The Bunker Crew from Burning Man who plan to flare their style of talent to the festival for three intoxicating nights of dance music.

Purple Couch Art Gallery

This specialty lounge has everything you need to relax and immerse yourself in an artistic environment. It has a stacked lineup of artists of varying disciplines, while also allowing visitors to indulge in some dope beats, converse with artists, and of course, take a break and relax on the lounge’s couches.

Epic + Submerged Sessions

These two entities are coming together for a special activation area that includes a stage, an art exhibit, and more. While Epic has been a part of Northern Nights since year one, 2019 marks their first official year at the festival with Submerged Sessions being their newest addition. Expect tech and underground house at this centrally-located music and art haven.
